Welcome to my page! I have been Associate Principal and 3rd Horn of the Columbus Symphony since 1997. Originally from Minnesota, I received my Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where I was a student of Douglas Hill. Upon graduation, I became a member of the New World Symphony in Miami, FL, where I played for 3 years before joining the Columbus Symphony.

In addition to performing regularly with the Columbus Symphony, I also teach the horn privately in my home studio and perform with various musical ensembles across Ohio. Besides my orchestral playing, I was also a 2-time prizewinner and finalist at the American Horn Competition (now called International Horn Competition of America), and a past 1st prize winner (professional horn division) at the International Women’s Brass Conference Solo Competition. I have appeared twice as a concerto soloist with the New World Symphony, and have also appeared with the Monarch Brass, an all-female large brass ensemble. I reside in Dublin with my husband and my 3 children. I perform on a Cantesanu double horn and a Finke descant horn.
